Women Empowerment Campaigns In India by Mission Heal

Mission Heal, one of the renowned and reputable non-governmental organizations in India, has been actively involved in the fight for women empowerment across the country. It is a sad fact that most of the women are not knowledgeable of their rights and as such, they are subjected to victimization and abuse including sexual and physical. Women empowerment campaigns are held across the nation especially in remote areas where abuse cases against women are reported in high numbers.

Mission heal, having been on the ground for quite some time to be knowledgeable to the current conditions and thus able to come up with the best incentives to deal with the problems facing the communities. It is unfortunate that, when it comes to women empowerment, a lot has been said and done in the past by governments from all corners of the globe. Unfortunately, only a few of these incentives have proved effective with a lot yet to be done to ensure every woman is targeted and empowered. Through vigorous sensitization campaigns, mission heal is able to help create a safe environment in the society for women empowerment and to create equal opportunities for them with men.

How Mission Heal empowers the women

The Indian government has laid down numerous legislation that are designed to help empower the women in India. Unfortunately, it is becoming evident that the government alone cannot achieve the objective without incorporating other stakeholders. Missionheal has been working with the government, coming up with incentives that can help better the living conditions for the women and make them empowered enough to make the needed changes in the societies that they live in. The number of boardroom meetings held to help the situation have been enough and it is now time to see the ideas on the papers put into practical use.

Women empowerment in India engages every individual and organizations. There have been endless and enough boardroom meetings to discuss the ways forward in cutting short the life of the malice. A lot has been done on the ground regarding the same. While most of the endeavors have been successful, there are those that have failed, such as the ones led by nongovernmental organizations that are profit oriented.

Mission heal has made it a part of its mission to help fight for the empowerment of the women by implementing a number of strategies. To begin with, one of the ways in which mission heal has set them and their strategies apart from others is that they are not profit oriented. To help meet its goals, mission heal depends on the support and donations made by well wishers coupled with the funding by various government agencies in the effort to realize the successful empowerment of all the women in the country. Mission Heal has so far seen successful more women get empowered through its incentives. Although there have been success stories, there still remain a lot to be done to ensure that every women is empowered.

Mission Heal's Motto: Educate a child, educate a Nation

What is a nation when its children lay in poverty and are illiterate? It is a known fact that illiteracy is the root cause of the other ailments caused to the society. Poverty, riots, alcohol and drug consumption as well as superstitions take birth because of illiteracy and lack of education. Lack of education leads to people thinking irrationally. Logic and reason escape them. These are the people instigating communal and political riots. It is necessary to curb these inadequacies of society by creating awareness in the society regarding the need for education for both women and children. Eradicating the society of illiteracy will reduce half the nation’s problems. The nation can then direct its resources for other needs of the society.

Various government organizations and NGO’s are working towards this project. Mission Heal is an NGO which has diverted all its energy towards educating young women as well as children. They believe in women's literacy because it wants to free them from the shackles women are bound in; giving them career options as well as fortifying their knowledge on being a better parent. Mission Heal also helps young children by organizing various events to guide them on the righteous path. Mission Heal also helps in environmental protection through its various activities. It is also necessary to know that Mission Heal is an NGO without any political or any religious backgrounds.

Mission Heal leads by setting examples to other NGO’s. It has split into many groups to reach farther to people. Mission Heal has organized free Medical Camps as well donation of books for the poor. They also organize free midday meals for the needy. Clothes are also distributed to these children. Mission Heal asks the support of all of us for supporting this cause. Donations are gladly accepted. Personal help is also a way you can add to this organization.

We, the educated people of India should understand the consequences of illiteracy. But what causes people to hesitate to learn and grow. There are various reasons why children drop out of school or why the attrition rate is so high. Poverty and family background is the main reason for this. Poverty restrains families to sending children for schooling. These children later turn out to become not what they could have been if luck had been on their side. Similarly the family background of the potential student matters. If he comes from a family that is reluctant to send him from schooling then it is difficult for that child to gain a formal education. Poverty is linked to such a kind of family background in many cases. Women, on the other hand, are suppressed from getting educated, which occurs mainly in the rural areas. Literacy for the interested women is necessary for them to understand and take control of the situations around them. After all, education is for one and all.

So is it not time to help the people who are in need? Our passive behavior will affect the society and nation. It is time to give back to the people who need it.

Mission Heal: Enhancing Quality Of Life for the Needy

At any given time, there are several problems facing every community across the globe. Some of these problems can be associated with the inability or lack of dealing with the issues facing them effectively and with the right approach. As such, the issues result in poverty, physical and underage disability. The affected individuals will suffer oppression or the lack of capability to live their lives to the fullest as well as realize the best living standards for the society. It is almost for such populations to ensure a better and a guaranteed future for themselves and their kids who entirely depend on them. It is only fair for the privileged members of the society to lend a helping hand to such persons in the society by helping them live up to their dreams as well as other expectations.

India is among the countries where the levels of poverty have engulfed a large population in the society. Unfortunately, a large majority of this population is made up of women and children who cannot afford the basic needs. The population is also made up of a high number of school drop outs. The Organization is dedicated to helping transform the lives of the needy families. A majority of these families cannot afford to get food on the table. The organization then comes in to help them afford the best nutritional diet to curb the malnutrition problem.

Child welfare
Another problem that the organization deals with is ending the child labor cases that are on a steady rise. The harsh working conditions under which these kids are put through expose them to a number of health issues. Besides the children, the organization is also focused on helping the women faced with a number of problems in the society. Women are subjected to a number of issues, mainly because they are considered as the weaker section. The organization also helps women dealing with disability issues as well as tough times without other people coming in to help them.

To offer the best solution facing the women as well as the kids, the The Mission Heal mobilizes the community whereby other privileged individuals in the society too extend a helping hand to the unfortunate members of the community so that they too can enjoy a better life.
The nongovernmental organization whose main objective is helping all the members of the society to live in harmony with each other has built a reputation by touching countless lives. The organization is also renowned for its ability and devotion in helping persons with disability as well as supporting the poor and less fortunate kids in the society enjoy a comfortable life.

The Mission Heal Objective
The organization is highly concerned with the welfare of the children and the environment which is why they go the extra offer to ensure there are schools set up to support the poor as well as the disabled kids get a free education and equal chances in life.

How Mission Heal Helps the Indian Children

Unfortunately, there is a large number of Indian children who die due to lack of proper medical treatment. To help solve the menace, more NGOs are coming up and working with the communities and the local government to better the health care system for the children and the local community. Another major problem facing the Indian children is the rampant child labor case which, despite tricky legislative laws, the cases continues to be on the rise. NGO’s such as Mission Heal work to help expose as well as prevent the increase in exploitation cases of the children and fight against trafficking of the children.

Statistics
Despite the above mentioned cases, another problem that is fast growing in Indian communities, especially in remote regions is poor education trends for the children. It is a sad statistic that over 7.1 million children in India do not attend schools. Mission Heal helps ensure these children go to school and access quality education. Mission Heal has successfully rescued hundreds of children from child labor and provided them with a better future through proper education.
Natural disasters
In times of natural disasters, it is a common thing for children to be affected the most. Mission Heal is dedicated to ensuring that the right to survival for every child is upheld as well as guaranteeing proper development after the disasters.  The organization has also been actively involved in running training programs for the children to help them resist critical issues in cases of natural calamities. The programs designed to protect the children by the NGO have been successful in cutting across all social issues, sensitization against the discrimination and always keeping the best interest for the kids in mind.
Empowering the children
In cases of natural disaster, the NGO helps the affected children by guarding them against exploitation, trafficking, and also cases of child labor while taking care of the kids without parental care. Mission Heal takes it upon themselves to understand the best practices for the community. This begins with taking regular and detailed studies in the various sectors related to the welfare of the Indian children. Among the most important activities that the NGO has been involved in is understanding the circumstances of the affected children in need of their help. They are also on a countrywide endeavor to help empower and make the children resilient in order to be able to protect them.
To achieve this, Mission Heal offers a child led organization as well as round the clock child support. This has therefore helped bring up resilient and promotion of reintegration of the young ones in the Indian society, especially the ones who have been subjected to victimization which can be due to their coping strategies that begin once there is a not protective mechanism present.  Mission Heal has been engaging the communities helping them learn the various protective approaches as well as early intervention steps. The success enjoyed by the organization makes it one of the best child welfare organization in India.

The Mission Heal approach in fundraising Campaigns

Any social enterprise or a non government organization (NGO) needs to present their case in a presentable manner for assuring that the grants are approved. It is also the approach of Mission Heal NGO. The initial few months can be tough for any NGO in raising funds but once they find out that what is the proper way for fund raising then the NGO never finds itself short of funds. The Mission Heal NGO with its experience over the years has learned the art of approaching donors.

The Donors are buying into you:
The donors in a way are buying your products and services for the people of their interest. In a way they are hiring you to do their needful. The MissionHeal NGO understands the situation and approaches the donors in a very professional way. The NGO also takes each donor separately as all have different priorities and psychology. Further, the donors also have their own preference of the welfare work in a particular sector. The Mission Heal NGO is lucky in this regard as they have their work cut out for the welfare of a diverse range of issues in our society.

Ingredients of your Proposal:
The proposal for your fundraising presented to the potential donors speaks a lot louder than the words that you speak to them. The proposal needs to have everything about your NGO and work. It should say that who are you, what is your area of operation, your history, your current projects, your future projects, are you trustworthy, credible, accountable, and sustainable etc. The potential donor actually checks all these things before he approves or disapproves your proposal. Further, the proposal actually provides the right space for an NGO that why they need their funds and by when. The NGO’s proposal writer can also tell and explain if he needs the funds in urgency. If the donors understand that you are doing the right work and also needs the money urgently, then they need to speed up their process in order to release the grants quickly.

Statistics:
The NGO in fundraising should have all the relevant statistics to their NGO and the community they are working for at their fingertips. The donors can also ask the presenters of the NGO about a variety of figures and it is also the responsibility of the NGO to know all the facts, figures and the dynamics of the society where they are working for.

This isn’t about you but for the people of the Society:
The representative of the NGO taking the proposal to the donors must tell that the work and efforts that they are making have nothing to do with their personal interest. Rather, it is for the benefit of the society. They are the representatives of those underprivileged people for whom they are collecting funds and donations. Assure them that each penny that they will pay would be spent for those underprivileged people in a very organized way.

Mission Heal Ngo : Challenges faced by the Mission Heal NGO

Introduction:
Challenges are common to NGOs and they have to tackle a lot of small and big challenges on a daily basis. Motivation of the NGO staffs, especially the founders and the top executive management is critically important to face such issues. The MissionHeal NGO is no different organization in this regard and they have their share of challenges to be dealt with on a daily basis. Most of the challenges for an NGO are mainly about the donors and donations. The Mission Heal NGO accepts that fundraising is the most difficult job for an NGO today. Sometimes they face a lot of difficulty in approaching their current and potential donors as well. On the other side, the NGOs complaints that sometimes the donors have very high and impractical expectations and ask very difficult questions which most of the representative of the NGOs fail to answer satisfactorily.

The reasons behind failure of NGOs:
An NGO can fail because of a number of reasons. India is dominated by a lot of small scale NGOs who comes into existence by just a single person’s effort. Such organizations take time to settle down with the acquiring of the resources and funds. If they fail to meet the resource requirement and the adequate funds, then obviously such NGOs collapse badly and have to terminate their operation. The small size of NGOs also faces huge problems in targeting the requirements of the community due to their limited resources. It means that a good intention of the founding person is not enough to run a successful NGO. Rather, there is a need for the NGOs to have several dedicated people laying the foundation stone of the NGO having a clear vision and objectives. Otherwise, a weak foundation would always result in the failure of the NGO sooner or later. The MissionHeal NGO is blessed to have a strong foundation which is always helping the NGO in all its operational and administrative efforts. Following are some of the other reasons of the failure of NGOs:
  • Weak administrative and management skills can quickly result in the failure of an NGO.
  • The NGOs are required to have good accountability systems for the satisfaction of all stakeholders. A lot of NGOs are biased in this regard as they have a much better accountability system for the foreign donors while accountability for the national donors is not up to the mark. This is where the NGOs struggle and several times fails miserably.
  • A lot of NGOs have the ego of working alone and they don’t seek help from any other NGO or the government when actually they should take it. Time has seen several such egoistic NGOs failing badly in meeting the requirements of the people of the community.
  • Donors donate funds by asking the NGOs to fulfill their expectations with the money they are giving. Several NGOs who fail to meet the requirements of the donors also fail to survive.
