What types of donors support the Mission Heal NGO financial needs

The operations of any NGO like Mission Heal are solely dependent on the funds that they get. Working for the funds for any NGO is as important as any other thing. The funds generated are solely used for the welfare of the community and nothing else. This is where the NGOs do point scoring and get funds to implement their welfare projects for the betterment of the community. Having a good mission and motive of an NGO is not enough to generate funds. They have to approach the donors in a systematic way. Further, a good relationship with donors should be established in order to get regular funding from them. The Mission Heal NGO has a very sophisticated program for generating funds for sponsoring their charitable and relief work for the welfare of the society. They recruit volunteers, especially for doing the critical fundraising campaigns on their behalf.

Types of funders for NGOs:

The NGOs should always give every donor the equal value no matter how big or small their donation is. They should believe in the fact that every penny counts and collectively small donations can make a difference in the state of the community. According to the Mission Heal NGO, there can be several types of funders for financially sponsoring the cause of an NGO. These funders broadly can be categorized into the following 4 types:

·         Individual donations –
A lot of small and some medium scale NGOs as well depend heavily on individual donations given by the generous people interested in the mission of your NGO. They can be big or small donations and there are several small NGOs who are totally funded by one or two individual donors for their entire welfare projects for the welfare of the community. Normally, no third party is involved in the individual donation process and both the parties can conveniently approach each other.

·         State Funding –
The state government for most of the rehabilitation, disaster management and in emergency situations, asks NGOs to work in collaboration with them. The state government is always in hunt of good NGOs who are doing the kind of work that the state government is looking for. On the other side, the NGOs too seek financial aid from the state government for their welfare operations in the community. If an NGO is able to convince the government with its proposal, then heavy grants are given to the Ngo. Further, the NGOs are also assured that the government would sponsor their cause in the future as well.

·         Corporate Funding –
Corporate funding is somehow a new concept in India, but it is working out very well. A lot of NGOs in India approach several big corporate businesses to allocate funds for them.

·         International donations –
The NGOs can get a lot of foreign aid as well for their cause. For this matter, all the NGOs are required to get permission from the State of India.
